1975, Ankara. Graduated from the F.A.F – Graphic Design Dept., Hacettepe Univ. in 1998 in first place. Finished M.A in 2001, Phd in 2006 in Graphic Design Dept. - Social Sciences Institute of Hacettepe Univ.. Studied in Department of Multimedia , F.A.F. at Brera Univ. in Milan, Italy in 2001-2002 with a schoolarship of Italian Government. She is an Professor (since 2017) in the Dept. of Visual Communication, Faculty of Fine Arts – AHBV.
Gave conferences, workshops and paticipated in design juries in U.S.A, Lithuania, Azerbaijan and Cyprus. Has 15 personal exhibitions (U.S.A, Italy, Lithuania, Azerbaijan). 51 National/International exhibitions. Her latest illustration art work was selected and publish in the book of Luzer’s ARCHIVE “200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 2014”. Demir also has 6 awards in Graphic Design, a design book in english, articles in design journals. Produces in digital design, illustration, typography, exhibition design fields.
