He was born in Tirebolu in 1956. He graduated from the Faculty of Theology of Atatürk University, Erzurum, in 1982. He has 1th, 2th, 3th prize and totally 9 national and international prize in the calligraphy design discipline. He participated to exhibition over 100 exhibitions as national and international. His works are in numerous collections in museums and private collections in Turkey and abroad. He still works as a Lecturer and produce art and academic works at Suleyman Demirel University, Fine Arts Faculty, Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Department.
